Hitachi GST today issued a new 2.5 inch hard drive. Hitachi Ultrastar C10K600, 15% faster for random and sequence of hard disk performance and 22% more power-efficient. Hitachi Ultrastar C10K600 hard drive available in capacities of 300, 450 and 600GB.

Hitachi Ultrastar C10K600 has specifications with 6Gbps SAS, 10,000 RPM, 64MB, Fluid Dynamic Bearding motor technology, RVS to keep hard drive vibrations and the age of 2 million hours. Power consumption is only 5.6W and 3.1W when work when idle. Hard Drive Hitachi Ultrastar C10K600 targeting the market for computer data centers.
